As little change of pace for this weeks Top Tips we thought weโ€™d share why we love bamboo so much. So, hereโ€™s why bamboo is such an amazing raw material for environmentally friendly products & why we should use more of it across our societyย ๐ŸŒฟ

Bamboo is the most environmentally beneficial plant in the world & has been used for centuries for various uses like shelter, clothes, medicine, storage, food & more. Its natural composition, durability & strength make bambooan excellent material for all kinds of products.

Bamboo is a crucial component in the balance of oxygen & carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. A grove of bamboo releases 35% more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees & absorbs much more carbon dioxide. Using bamboo products is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint & help fight environmental issues.

Bamboo can grow to full size in just 3 to 4 months, compared to standard trees which can take 30+ years to grow. This means that harvesting bamboo & using it to create daily use products is a lot more efficient, sustainable & ethical.

In the right conditions, bamboo can grow 3 feet tall in 24 hours. You can literally watch it grow! It boasts naturally renewing properties & a super fast regrowth.

Bamboo plants also have strong roots which makes soil more stable. This can stabilise & restore the land which prevents landslides. It can also aid in flood prevention!

Bamboo helps protect biodiversity & endangered species by creating homes for a variety of different animals like the Giant Panda who loves to snack on bamboo!

Pesticides & chemicals aren't required when harvesting bamboo. This means the cultivation is natural & never harms the environment when done properly.

Bamboo products are eco-friendly as long as they haven't been chemically processed. Products like ours are 100% natural bamboo which means they can be composted with zero waste & no harm to the environment.

The antibacterial properties of bamboo mean the plant inherits a natural barricade against bacteria. Most bacteria & bugs that attempt to thrive on the bamboo plant are eradicated naturally making it easy to cultivate!

We love bamboo. Itโ€™s remarkably versatile & itโ€™s sustainable properties are unparalleled. Thatโ€™s why we use it across much of our range! And if you didnโ€™t love it before - we bet you do now!

Thanks for reading everyone! I hope you found this informative & useful. If we all switched to more bamboo products than plastic the world would quickly become a healthier place ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŽ‹
